Then, I took my ideas and thoughts from the last exercise and I put them in random bubbles and started connecting them! This made me really start thinking about connections and different issues within the books. I focused on standardized testing and teaching parallels. It really helped me broaden my horizons for my ideas and places to focus my paper. I found a lot of connections I never considered.
It looks like you made a lot of progress in your pre-writing here. It's so helpful to group and connect ideas, so I think you chose a really effective process!
ReplyDeleteI love how much commentary you found about the education system. That could be fascinating because Hogwarts, just as (dare I say it?) "real" schools, is actually very flawed, despite its many positive qualities. It looks like you've already identified a lot of examples to show this.
ReplyDeleteWow, your prewriting seems super effective! I like how you were able to think so much about and delve deeply into specific quotes and take the thought process you had from that to draw connections in the bubbles. I feel like my prewriting was fun and that I have a lot of different ideas but haven't connected them/boiled it down to one solid direction. Good job!
