Drafting

I really liked the first time when we drafted by hand so that is what I did this time.  I will just post pictures of my drafts.  I didn't do the pre-drafting post but my goal was to establish a good opening paragraph and thesis that could drive my paper and then experiment with writing body paragraphs that were clear in supporting that thesis.

  1. I'm so sorry this is late! But! I like how you really took the time to show your audience the setup and purpose of the story, because I think it really is plot parallels that your paper depends on, rather than simply a phrase or insinuated theme. You've drawn really great comparisons between the events in the book and events in real life, and that is vital to the point you're trying to convey. Great job drafting!

  2. It seems like you achieved your goal of using the thesis to drive your paper. The paragraphs build on each other and push the main point of the paper. Good job!

  3. I like how by using background, context, and summary you set up the foundation for your paper. You seemed to address your thesis and stay on topic, the only thing I would say is maybe find a way to make your thesis a little more controversial, but your paper is looking great!
